The many years of cooperation between Dieffenbacher, GmbH + Co. KG, Eppingen, Germany, and Märtiens Robotec GmbH, Bruchsal, Germany, in plastics forming culminated on 3 February 2010 when Märtiens Robotec was merged into the Dieffenbacher group of companies. Dieffenbacher is the market leader in the area of fiber-reinforced plastics forming, and has therefore achieved its goal of supplying complete systems for all composite processes from a single source. Märtiens Robotec is a leading company in the automotive industry in the area of SMC and GMT processing. The product portfolio includes cutting lines, weighers, packetizing systems, press loading systems and machines for finishing and quality control. Furthermore, Märtiens Robotec offers individual consulting tailored to customers' requirements in order to increase productivity and quality. Machines from Märtiens Robotec are used by all significant SMC manufacturers and SMC processors. Additional machines of similar types are used in many companies in the plastics processing industry. With its two subsidiaries of Märtiens Robotec and Dieffenbacher System-Automation, Dieffenbacher is now offering all automation systems for plastics forming - ranging from material preparation to material handling and processing of finished parts.
