Gourmet pasta products from the Canadian company, Nature’s Farm, are now being packaged in the compostable film NatureFlex from Innovia Films Ltd., Cumbria, UK. The packaging film is based on wood. It is compostable and breaks down within a matter of weeks.

NatureFlex films are certified to meed both the US ASTM D6400 and European EN13432 standards for compostable packaging. The wood pulp is sourced from plantations managed by referenced suppliers operating Good Forestry Principles (FSC or equivalent). The films consist of about 95 wt.-% wood.
